Kate and Tony's 'Dancing' Story Will Be 'Jon & Kate'-Themed

It's April Fools' Day, but we're not fooling: E! Online got the news from Kate Gosselin herself that, in response to judge Len Goodman's challenge for the Dancing with the Stars couples to "tell a story" in next week's routine, she and partner Tony Dovolani will enact a true story: the story of her life!

"It's my story over the past two years," Kate said of the routine. "We're very, very excited."

How would Kate describe the choreography for this spin-off of her tabloid tale? There's really only one word that does it justice:

"Dramatic," said Kate. To which Tony added, "Lots of drama." To which Kate tacked on for good measure, "Oh my gosh, so much drama."

Does that mean Tony Dovolani will be putting on a bright polo shirt and cargo shorts to play Jon Gosselin in their pasodoble next week?

Luckily for Tony (or "Poor Tony," as many deemed him since DWTS kicked off, some even going to far as to make shirts asking America to put him out of his Kate-induced misery!) the dance won't be quite so literal. At least not according to one source close to Kate who spoke to MSNBC:

"(The dance) will have to do with all she went through in some way," said the source. But will her dancing partner be playing the part of Kate's ex? "Of course not."

We should hope not--especially because it's Poor Tony's job to choreograph the whole routine. Will he be able to turn the Gosselin gossip into a gorgeous pasodoble? It's a big task, but Poor Tony has already shown he's up for anything this season, so we expect nothing less.

One stroke of luck for Poor Tony? The pasodoble is traditionally a bull fighting dance, and I can't think of two better words to describe the last two years of the Gosselins' lives than fighting and bull.

_ Kelly Monaco: The 32-year-old "General Hospital" star was the first celebrity to win the show's mirror ball trophy when only six contestants competed in 2005. The actress — who infamously almost lost her top during a Latin routine when a strap on her dress broke — has continued in the role of Sam McCall on "General Hospital" since winning the show.

_ Drew Lachey: The former 98 Degrees boy-band member waltzed out of big brother Nick's shadow after winning the popular dancing competition in 2006. The 32-year-old singer returned to the show for three weeks during the fifth season as co-host while Samantha Harris was on maternity leave. Earlier this year, Lachey starred on Broadway in "Monty Python's Spamalot."

_ Emmitt Smith: The National Football League's all-time leading rusher and three-time Super Bowl champion was the first of several athletes to become a "Dancing with the Stars" champion. After besting runner-up Mario Lopez with his moves in 2006, the 39-year-old former Dallas Cowboys and Arizona Cardinals football player joined ESPN as an NFL analyst in 2007.

_ Apolo Anton Ohno: After winning three medals at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, the 26-year-old speedskater outdanced former 'NSync member Joey Fatone on the "Dancing with the Stars" finale in 2007. Ohno returned to the ice rink after dominating the ballroom, recently competing in the World Cup and training for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

_ Helio Castroneves: After winning in 2007, the 33-year-old two-time Indianapolis 500 winner called off his engagement to Aliette Vazquez and is now entangled in a legal mambo. Castroneves was charged with conspiracy and tax evasion involving about $5.5 million in income stashed in offshore accounts. He pleaded not guilty and is free on a $10 million bond.

_ Kristi Yamaguchi: The 37-year-old figure skater became the first woman to win "Dancing with the Stars" since Monaco won the show's first season. After beating NFL player Jason Taylor and actor Cristian de la Fuente in the finale earlier this year, the Olympic gold medalist became the first woman to wave the green flag to start the Indianapolis 500.

_ Brooke Burke: The former host of E!'s "Wild On" and CBS' "Rock Star" defeated former NFL star Warren Sapp and former 'NSync boyband member Lance Bass at the conclusion of the latest season of "Dancing with the Stars." The 37-year-old mother of four currently sells maternity products, such as a belly wrap she designed for women after they've given birth.

Helio and Julianne Takes the Trophy in Season 5

Helio Castroneves and Julianne Hough win Season 5 beating out Spice Girl Melanie Brown and Maksim. This makes Julianne Hough a two-time winner matching that of other professional dancer, Cheryl Burke.

Apolo Anton Ohno and Julianne Hough beat out Joey Fatone and Kym Johnson to snatch the Season 4 Mirror Ball. It was Julianne’s first win.

Former NFL Great, Emmitt Smith wins DWTS Season 3

Emmitt Smith beat out former Saved by the Bell star, Mario Lopez to go on to win Season 3 of Dancing with the Stars with professional partner, Cheryl Burke. Cheryl Burke is a two time winner winning Season 2 with Drew Lachey.

Smith and Lopez received identital scores by the judges on the last competition night. It came down to the fan vote that pulled out the victory for Emmitt.

Former contestant, Jerry Springer said, “They both had identical scores so it was who had the more compelling story and Emmitt’s was the great American story. You saw his growth throughout the process and that’s the great American story. That’s the magic of this show.” (quote from People Magazine)

Lopez’s partner, Karina Smirnoff was visibly upset by the loss. She cried and Lopez tried to console her. When asked about the loss, Lopez responded with “”Apparently world-class dancing wasn’t enough. That wasn’t the criteria it was based on,” a dejected Lopez told PEOPLE. “I don’t really care about the trophy. I just wanted to win for Karina. She is honestly the best dancer in the world. Aside from the fact that Emmitt Smith won, other highlights of the night were seeing the entire Season 3 cast come back and dance. Some fan favorites were Jerry Springer partnered with Kym Johnson and Sara Evans partnered with Tony Dovolani.

Drew Lachey Wins Season 2 of Dancing With the Stars

The former 98 Degrees pop singer and brother of Nich Lachey beat out Pro-Wrestler Stacy Keiber in Season 2 of Dancing with the Stars. Lachey was partnered with Cheryl Burke who made her debut this season. Not bad for a debut.

Stacy Keiber partnered with Tony Dovolani came in second while former NFL great, Jerry Rice came in third.

Lachey and Burke wowed the audience with their Freestyle Dance. They danced it up country style to the tune of “Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy.” The finished with Drew Lachey leaping over Cheryl’s shoulders. Burke told People Magazine, “This jump is either gonna make us or kill us,” Burke said beforehand.

Drew and Cheryl received a perfect score from the judges. Then America was responsible for the half of the decision. “From week one, you come out on this floor like Wyatt Earp at the OK Corral,” judge Len Goodman told Lachey.

Drew, who’s wife was due to have a baby girl any second and his brother in the audience cheering him on, said, “”I’m the luckiest man in the world right now.”

Season 1 Winners: Kelly Monaco and Alex Mazo

General Hospital’s Kelly Monaco and professional dance partner, Alec Mazo beat out John O’Hurley and partner Charlotte Jorgensen.

They later rematched and John ended up winning. Charlotte Jorgensen hasn’t been seen since. No matter what the rematch decided, Kelly Monaco and Alec Mazo won Season 1 of Dancing with the Stars.

On May 6, 2008 DWTS had a special two-hour edition to commemorate its 100th episode.

Kristi Yamaguchi and her partner, Mark Ballas, won the competition, making Kristi the first female winner since Kelly Monaco in season 1. Kristi & Mark combined for four of the five perfect scores given out this season; she received three of them for her three Finals dances, giving her a perfect 90 out of 90, the first-ever perfect total finals score. (The runner-up, Jason Taylor, received the fifth perfect score for his final dance.) Kristi & Mark also finished with the highest average score in DWTS history (28.3 ave. & 8 out of 10 weeks on top of the leaderboard, a record); their lowest score on any dance was a 26.

Tonight was Dancing With The Stars 100th Show!

Many of the previous DWTS stars came back for tonight’s show. Rascal Flats performed first while Julianne Hough and Apolo Anton Ohno performed and late in the show Mel B and Maksim performed.

Here are the couples who will be back next week in the order they were announced:

It was shocking to see that Marissa & Tony were not in the bottom two with having the lowest score of the evening last night.

Famous Stars and Straps (also known as FSAS) is an American clothing and accessory line created by Travis Barker, best known for being the drummer of Plus 44 and previously Blink 182. The company is based in Corona, California. Famous Stars And Straps clothing is influenced by music genres such as punk rock and hip-hop. The line consists mostly of men's t-shirts, jackets, and hats, although recently a women's line was added consisting of bikinis, shirts, pants, etc. They also specialize in accessories such as belt buckles, bandanas, and skateboard decks. Dancing with the Stars is the name of a group of international television series based on the format of the British series Strictly Come Dancing. Not all the international versions share this title.
